Mathieu Hanet, 32 years old and living in Ghent, recently joined our team as our new Funding Specialist or Hunter.
What were you doing before joining Spreds?
Co-owner and manager at Amitabha, an ambitious SME active in the sport sector.
How did you hear about Spreds?
For Amitabha we made the strategic decision to take an experienced manager on board, who’s a “celebrity” in the Sports world. We found him through Pieter Van Damme, Barry HR. He’s the one who told me about the vacancy at Spreds. I was already following Spreds (MyMicroInvest) since its launch in 2011.
What will your role at Spreds be?
My official title is Funding Specialist, I will be the first contact of the entrepreneurs looking for funding through Spreds.
What were the highlights of your first week at Spreds?
Meeting my new colleagues, a young team of very dynamic individuals eager to help entrepreneurs develop their business ideas and dedicated to find the best investment opportunities for our investors.
I hope my experience as an entrepreneur will help me better understand the needs of the companies looking for funding. I’m really looking forward to this new challenge, with this amazing team and products, I truly believe great opportunities are on our way.
