The total cost of ownership for eye-tracking based assistive communication devices available in the market today range between 5 to 10kEUR per device. MindSpeaker aims to enter the market with a competitive solution that can be leased starting from 150€ per month (we assume between 36 to 60 month average disease lifetime). Based on the progressive profiling and training of our patient's Brain Computer Interface, we will gradually release functional software upgrades to enable natural speech decoding as the disease progresses. For the fully functional and integrated (hardware + software) solution, we estimate the patient's total cost of ownership to amount to 8,5k€ on average.
