Academic Intern


About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, curious Business Development & Sales Intern to join us as part of their academic curriculum. Working closely under the mentorship of our Sales Manager, you will be immersed in the commercial operations of an innovative fintech. This internship focuses heavily on skill acquisition, market discovery, and understanding B2B sales cycles. You will play an active role in building corporate awareness and finding new opportunities while completing your studies.

About you

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, requiring an official internship agreement.
  • You are genuinely interested in the startup/scale-up environment and eager to understand digital business models.
  • You are an eager learner with an outgoing, proactive nature and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You process information quickly and have a strong sense of personal responsibility toward collective team goals.
  • You communicate naturally, professionally, and clearly in speech and text.
  • You are fluent in either Dutch or French, and English comes easily to you.
  • You are highly organized and comfortable working with modern digital productivity suites.

Learning path

  • Lead Generation & Profiling: Learn how to map markets, identify ideal customer profiles, and source high-quality corporate prospects.
  • Investor Relations Support: Assist the team in managing investor communications, learning how to present active crowdfunding projects, and supporting follow-up strategies for platform investors.
  • CRM Data Integrity: Maintain, track, and update commercial data inside our digital sales tools, observing structured pipeline habits.
  • Competitive Market Analysis: Conduct market research to monitor competitive landscapes and identify emerging sector trends.  
  • Collaborative Reporting: Prepare weekly performance insights and participate in team alignment meetings with the Sales Manager.

Junior Sales Specialist


About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales Specialist on a fixed-term contract to temporarily reinforce our sales team during an intense period of market growth. In this role, you will hit the ground running to assist the team in managing an influx of inbound requests, accelerating lead generation, and converting prospects into active campaigns or platform subscribers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain intensive, high-impact experience within the fintech and startup ecosystem.

About you

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree or a solid first experience in outbound sales, business development, or account management.
  • You are comfortable with the startup, scale-ups, and SME’s ecosystem.
  • You know how to convince people through clear, structured, inspiring, and professional communication.
  • You thrive on the hunting phase of the sales cycle and have strong baseline selling skills.
  • You are autonomous, hands-on, highly adaptive, and ready to make an immediate impact from day one.
  • You are fluent in either Dutch or French, with a working proficiency of English.
  • You are proficient with standard digital productivity tools and CRM software.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively identify, map, and qualify new business opportunities (start-ups, scale-ups, and large corporations).
  • Pipeline Management: Support the existing sales team by organizing, nurturing, and advancing prospects through the sales pipeline.
  • Investor Relations & Project Presentation: Actively contact, engage, and maintain relationships with the Spreds investor community, presenting current crowdfunding projects and matching them with relevant investment opportunities. 
  • Data & Reporting: Systematically track, log, and report sales activity data directly to the Sales Manager.

Independent Freelance Sales Agent


About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial Freelance Sales Agent to drive corporate growth on a fully performance-based commission structure. This role offers total autonomy and is designed for an independent business developer who wants to leverage their own network and hunting skills to source financial and SaaS clients for Spreds. If you are looking for high earning potential with complete schedule control, this position allows you to act as an external partner with uncapped commissions on closed deals.

About you

  • You operate as a registered independent/freelancer and possess an entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset.
  • You have strong, proven selling skills and a passion for the high-intensity “hunting” and closing phases of sales.
  • You have an established network within the European startup, scale-up, corporate, or legal/association ecosystem.
  • You possess clear, professional, and highly persuasive communication skills across digital and face-to-face channels.
  • You understand crowdfunding mechanisms, corporate finance fundamentals, or B2B SaaS business models.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and highly comfortable conducting business in English.
  • You are deeply results-oriented, thriving under a merit-based, commission-only payout framework.

Key responsibilities

  • End-to-End Business Development: Source, contact, and close deals with start-ups and scale-ups seeking equity/debt funding, or corporations needing stakeholder management software.  
  • Investor Network Engagement & Pitching: Leverage and expand your personal network of private investors, proactively presenting active crowdfunding projects on the platform to accelerate and secure funding targets. 
  • Creative Solution Selling: Pitch customized crowdfunding models or corporate meeting governance solutions adapted to the precise financial and regulatory needs of clients.  
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Mastery: Independently build, cultivate, and manage your own sales pipeline.  
  • Regulatory & Brand Alignment:Maintain strict professional standards to represent Spreds' FSMA-compliant framework accurately in the market.  
  • Strategic Alignment: Provide regular status updates and pipeline reporting to the Spreds Sales Manager.
