MyMicroInvest, market leader in crowdfunding in Belgium, prepares for international expansion and does so by raising €3 million of fresh capital. In 3 years time, already €10 million has been invested in about 30 companies by a 'community' of 30.000 members. MyMicroInvest is now ready to shift up a gear.

Since the launch in 2012, MyMicroInvest succeeds to create a bridge between available capital from Belgian individuals and the need for financing from SME's and startups. This thanks to crowdfunding, an alternative method of financing that offers members of the platform the possibility to invest already from €100 in the equity of young, innovating startups or in the form of a loan to established SME's. MyMicroInvest is unique because of their co-investment principle: members of the platform invest alongside professional co-investors at the same conditions.

MyMicroInvest intends to continue her success on an international level and to expand to 6 European countries in the next 3 years.
